Meet the Candidates


Dominick Puzio

Dominick feels government should work for the people, not the people for the government.  He would like to see more community based programs for the your and senior members of our community.

Dominick understands the fundamental challenges necessary to ensure that political judgments match societal goals and remain accountable to the public.  Transparency is an important tool for ensuring accountability.

Family and community were the two core values instilled in Dominick at a young age and they still guide him today.

Dominick lives in Raritan Township with his wife Heather and their three children. He attended Ocean County Community College, Thomas Edison State College and two police academies.  Dominick as served on his local PS executive board for 3 years and currently holds position of Vice President for his local FOP. 




Sharon Winnick

Sharon is an educator and a devoted para-professional in the area of special education in the Delaware Valley School District. Sharon is a member of the NJ Education Association and engages regularly with their very active and influential Legislative Committee.  She is a volunteer at the Hunterdon Medical Center and supports Special Olympics and Relay for Life among other charitable causes, including a supporter of the local Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts organziations and community theatre. 

Sharon feels that this election is about the future of our community.  We need to address and balance quality of life with economic growth while reducing tax burdens and preserving our natural resources. 

Sharon has a BA and BFA from Colorado State University.  She and her husband Ed have 2 adult children, both of whom graduated from Hunterdon Central Regional High School.  Sharon is an active congregant and member of the FJCC where she has served in the capacity of pre-school.
